SOCOMEP is an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 certified fisheries quality and quantity control company based in Seychelles. Their inspectors conducted tuna quality checks, quantity measurements, and laboratory sampling at portside — all recorded on paper forms. This created significant risks: illegible handwriting, lost or damaged forms, manual data re-entry back at the office, and delays in producing export compliance documentation. For an ISO-certified operation, paper-based processes were a liability.
Product Array replaced SOCOMEP’s paper-based workflow with a custom Flutter tablet application. Inspectors now complete digital forms dockside on tablets — capturing tuna quality grades, catch weights, sampling results, and vessel details in a structured, validated format. Data syncs to a central backend, eliminating manual re-entry and enabling instant report generation for export documentation.
SOCOMEP’s inspectors now capture, validate, and submit inspection data entirely on tablet — with zero paper forms. Report generation that previously took hours of manual effort is now automated. The solution strengthens SOCOMEP’s ISO compliance posture and positions them as a digitally-modern, audit-ready fisheries inspection operation in the Indian Ocean region.
