Namibia lacked a safe, technology-driven ride-hailing platform. Informal taxis offered no driver verification, no real-time tracking, and no digital payments leaving commuters with no reliable alternative. The client needed a complete ride-sharing solution: two mobile apps (rider and driver), a real-time backend, and an admin portal, all built for a market with mixed smartphone literacy and a preference for cash payments.

Product Array built YENE Safe Rides, a production-ready, cross-platform ride-sharing app published on both the iOS App Store and Google Play. The platform connects verified drivers with riders across Namibia, offering Mini, Sedan, and SUV ride options with transparent pricing, live GPS tracking, and 24/7 availability.
